Danielle Gaucher is a researcher and director of the Intergroup Relations and Social Justice Laboratory at the University of Manitoba. Her work focuses on social justice and social change, with an emphasis on social-psychological processes that perpetuate inequality at individual and institutional levels.
- PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Waterloo (2010)
- Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Post Doctoral Fellow at Princeton University
Her research combines psychological theory, quantitative methodologies, and policy applications to address systemic barriers to equality. Key areas include gendered wording in job advertisements, system justification theory, and public attitudes toward refugee resettlement.
Danielle has been recognized with a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Post Doctoral Fellowship. Her lab mentors students such as Lily Kaufmann (MA candidate), Evan Forest (undergraduate), and Ariane Freynet-Gagné (undergraduate).
She previously worked in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and now resides in Winnipeg.
