Daniele Piovani is an Assistant Professor of Medical Statistics (MED/01) at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, Humanitas University in Milan, Italy. His expertise spans biostatistics, epidemiology, and clinical research methods. He holds a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the Open University (UK) and completed post-doctoral training at the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research. Piovani teaches the 'Research, Scientific Evidence and Healthcare Evaluation' course for the Master's in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences.
