She holds a History degree from the University of Alicante (2013) and a Master’s in Contemporary History from USC (2014). Her current research examines political patronage in the Second Republic (1931-1936) through a comparative lens between Galicia and the Valencian Community.
Her research interests include the democratization of rural societies, Francoist repression, and the history of sexual dissidence in Iberia. Notable projects include studies on LGBTQ+ movements in Galicia (1880-2017), Francoist repression in republican rearguards, and agrarian history through the HISTAGRA research group. She has also explored topics such as trans lives during Spain’s Transition period, theatrical drag performances, and the persistence of local political power structures across regime changes.
Her work bridges historical analysis with contemporary social issues, emphasizing marginalized voices and institutional continuity. She has contributed to interdisciplinary projects like the Margarita Salas postdoctoral fellowship and collaborates with networks such as the REVOLTA Agroecology and Rural History group.
