Iria Morgade Valcárcel is a historian affiliated with the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), specializing in Contemporary History. She holds a PhD from USC (thesis: social mobilization around memory in Spain from the Transition to present), complemented by degrees in Political Science (UCM, 2011), International Migration (UDC, 2013), and Teacher Training (USC, 2014).
