Prof. Dr. Daniel Zimmer is a faculty member at the Institute for Commercial and Business Law, University of Bonn. He has been actively organizing lectures, seminars, and excursions related to German and European antitrust law, data law, and economics since 2018. His roles include teaching Antitrust Law I and II and co-organizing focus seminars with colleagues like Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kirchhoff and Prof. Dr. Konrad Ost.
Zimmer's research interests revolve around competition law, antitrust economics, and data regulation, with a focus on practical applications in European legal frameworks. He frequently leads block seminars and excursions, including a study trip to the European Commission in Brussels (2025).
