Daniel Saenz is an Associate Professor of Cello at the Sam Houston State University School of Music. He serves as Executive Director of Brazos Music, a nonprofit building partnerships through mentoring programs. A certified Suzuki Method teacher, he joins Space City Suzuki Institute's faculty during summers and maintains an active international performance career.
His research focuses on contemporary performance practices and music pedagogy. Through TexStrings Camp, he mentors over 100 pre-college students annually, preparing them for auditions and competitions.
