Dr. Daniel Rubin serves as a critical care neurologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and Instructor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. He is also a faculty member of the Center for Neurotechnology and Neurorecovery, where he conducts interdisciplinary research at the intersection of computational science and clinical neurology.
Dr. Rubin's research focuses on applying computational neuroscience principles to solve clinical problems in neurology, with particular emphasis on developing novel tools and technologies to improve outcomes for patients with neurologic injuries. His work bridges critical care medicine, neurotechnology development, and computational modeling of neurological conditions. This research program represents an innovative approach to translating theoretical neuroscience into practical clinical applications.
Dr. Rubin received his B.S. from Cornell University and his combined M.D./Ph.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. His clinical training includes an internal medicine internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital, followed by neurology residency and neurocritical care fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital.
As a faculty member at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Rubin contributes to both the clinical and research missions of the Department of Neurology, with particular focus on advancing neurocritical care through technological innovation.
