Dr. Daniel Pedersen is a Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen, affiliated with the School of Divinity, History, Philosophy & Art History. He holds a PhD from Princeton Theological Seminary (2016) and an MDiv (2011). His research focuses on theological and philosophical themes including the doctrine of God, sin and evil, metaethics, aesthetics, and theology-science intersections. He has written extensively on figures like Spinoza, Leibniz, Schleiermacher, and Tillich.
Current research explores evolution, moral evil, and divine blame through a co-authored project analyzing divine responsibility in evolutionary contexts.
