Logan Hoffman serves as Assistant Professor of Honors Humanities and Theology in the Honors College at Indiana Wesleyan University, bringing ten years of integrated experience in Christian Higher Education and pastoral ministry within The Wesleyan Church.
His educational credentials include:
- PhD in Religions and Theology from Trinity College Dublin
- MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary
- BA in Religion and Philosophy from Indiana Wesleyan University
Dr. Hoffman's research bridges Wesleyan/Holiness theological commitments with academic rigor, specializing in Friedrich Schleiermacher's theological method and Doctrine of God as articulated in Der christliche Glaube, while also exploring Eschatology to address gaps between academic theology and church practice. His work embodies Schleiermacher's "Prince of the Church" ideal—serving both ecclesial and scholarly communities through creative theological synthesis.
He is deeply committed to grounding students in Christian narrative frameworks for life-purpose discernment, teaching Philosophy, Theology, Church History, and Biblical Studies across Indiana Wesleyan University and Taylor University. His experiential pedagogy includes coordinating semester-long study abroad programs in Ireland.
