Daniel Nordstrand Frantzen

Daniel Nordstrand Frantzen is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Technology, Management and Economics (DTU Management), Technical University of Denmark, specializing in socio-technical dimensions of energy transitions and climate adaptation. His interdisciplinary work bridges Science and Technology Studies, environmental policy, and sociology to examine valuation practices in renewable energy development.

Frantzen's research centers on Wind Energy controversies, Climate Adaptation politics, and Valuation Studies, employing qualitative methodologies including discourse analysis and ethnographic approaches. His investigations reveal how scientific knowledge, policy frameworks, and public values interact in contentious energy transitions, particularly through case studies of wind turbine noise disputes and Danish wind energy implementation.
