Dr. Daniel Michelson is a Visiting Clinical Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychology at the University of Sussex and holds a role at King's College London. His research focuses on youth mental health interventions, particularly in global and clinical settings, with an emphasis on co-design approaches involving marginalized populations. He specializes in developing and evaluating interventions targeting depression, anxiety, and mental health disparities among adolescents and young adults in low-resource and high-pressure environments. Dr. Michelson actively supervises PhD students at the University of Sussex and collaborates on projects addressing mental health challenges in diverse contexts, including Malawi, India, and Nepal.
