Daniel Hartman

Daniel Hartman is a Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, Germany, specializing in geometric and topological research. Previously, he was a graduate student and Directed Reading Program (DPR) mentor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia (UGA). His academic affiliations include the Boyd Graduate Studies Research Center at UGA and the MPIM-Bonn research institute.

His research explores foundational and applied aspects of topology, with emphasis on smooth manifolds in dimension four, algebraic geometry structures, and low-dimensional topological phenomena.
