Daniel DeLau is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the School of Business and Leadership within the College of Undergraduate Studies at Colorado Christian University (CCU), where he has been teaching since 2017. He brings over 35 years of professional experience in accounting and taxation to his academic role, mentoring the next generation of business leaders.

He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Colorado and has held high-level positions in both public accounting and corporate tax management. His expertise spans domestic and international tax transactions, compliance, and financial strategy.
Throughout his career, DeLau was promoted to Partner at Ernst & Young, co-founded a tax consulting firm in Denver, and served as U.S. Tax Director for a Fortune 100 company headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland. His professional background provides a strong practical foundation for his teaching and student mentorship in the accounting profession.
He resides in Lakewood, Colorado, with his wife Debbie, and has one daughter living in Wyoming.
