Daniel Bernard Harries

Dr. Daniel Bernard Harries is an Assistant Professor at the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society at Heriot-Watt University, affiliated with the Institute for Life and Earth Sciences. His career began at Heriot-Watt, where he completed his PhD on meiofaunal ecology and later worked as a research associate on diverse projects including biogenic reefs and North Sea benthos studies. He contributed to marine protected area surveys for multiple universities and led monitoring programs for Scottish Natural Heritage.
