معرفی
Danai Dima is a Senior Research Fellow in Neuroimaging at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC). Her work integrates neuroimaging, genetics, and computational methods to investigate psychiatric disorders such as psychosis, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder.
- Doctor of Science, Medical School Hanover, Germany (Marie Curie Early Stage Training Fellow)
- Master in Science, Imperial College London
- Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences
Her research focuses on neuroimaging connectivity analyses, psychosis, and genetic mechanisms in mental health conditions. Recent work includes machine learning applications for depression diagnosis and transcriptomic mapping of psychiatric risk.
Danai's scientific awards include the Marie Curie Early Stage Training Fellowship and a Brain and Behavior Research Foundation grant. She has led multiple integrative projects on bipolar disorder resilience mechanisms and neurogenic compounds for depression treatment.
As a co-investigator in large-scale collaborations like ENIGMA, she contributes to normative modeling of brain structure, psychiatric classification systems, and aging-related cognitive decline research.
