Dana Jeremy Lukin is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Clinical Director of Translational Research at the Jill Roberts Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) at Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University. He holds roles as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine (WCMC) and Assistant Professor in the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program (WCMC), alongside an Associate Attending position in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP). Dr. Lukin specializes in IBD, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, with a focus on clinical care, translational research, and access to clinical trials. He co-founded the Einstein-Montefiore Program for IBD and serves as co-chair of the NYC Chapter Medical Advisory Committee for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.
Education: M.D. (2007) and Ph.D. (2006) from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, B.S. (1999) from SUNY Buffalo. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Research interests include advanced therapies for IBD, clinical trial development, and collaborative projects with organizations like NYCCO and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation Clinical Research Alliance. He is a founding member of IBD ReMEdY and actively involved in translational research initiatives.
External relationships include consulting roles with pharmaceutical companies such as AbbVie, Janssen, and Pfizer, reflecting his engagement in advancing IBD treatment options.
