Dana Janbek is a Master Lecturer and internationally-focused scholar in the Department of Mass Communication at Boston University's College of Communication. She specializes in communication technologies used by Syrian refugees and the role of internet platforms in global terrorism. Her research has been featured in top journals like New Media & Society and books such as Global Terrorism and New Media: The Post Al-Qaeda Generation.
