Dr. Dan White is a Senior Lecturer in Musicology at the Department of Media, Humanities and the Arts, School of Arts and Humanities, University of Huddersfield. His research focuses on fantasy worldbuilding through music in film, theme parks, and transmedia contexts. As a member of the Centre for Research in Music and its Technologies, he explores cinematic sound design and audience emotional engagement with musical motifs.
