Dan Briker is an architect and educator affiliated with the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto since 2015. He holds an MArch from the University of Toronto and a BA in Philosophy from McGill University. His practice dbdbdb explores spatial narrative, tactility, and authenticity in architecture. Prior to founding his firm, he worked at LGA Architectural Partners on projects like the Laurentian School of Architecture and the Bathurst Street Center for Social Innovation. He also contributed to Frank Gehry’s Biodiversity Museum in Panama through his background in information graphics and data visualization.
Research interests include identity, authorship, and authenticity in architecture, evidenced by publications, lectures, and a 2009 solo installation at the Art Gallery of Alberta.
