Dan Beachy-Quick

Dan Beachy-Quick is a Professor of English and Interim Chair & Undergraduate Coordinator at Colorado State University. He holds the title of University Distinguished Teaching Scholar. His academic roles include teaching poetry workshops and literature courses, alongside administrative leadership.

Education: MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from the University of Iowa Writer's Workshop. His creative work includes six poetry collections, scholarly studies like A Brighter Word Than Bright: Keats at Work, and collaborative projects such as Conversities with Srikanth Reddy.

Research interests center on creative writing, poetry, and literary criticism with a focus on Romanticism, American literature, and interdisciplinary studies. His work bridges poetic practice with scholarly analysis, exploring themes like language, form, and cultural heritage.
