Stephen Beachy is an Adjunct Professor (Part-Time) at the University of San Francisco, specializing in creative writing and experimental prose. He is a Michener Award-winning author known for innovative fiction exploring queer identities, narrative structure, and social margins.
Education: MFA in Creative Writing from the prestigious Iowa Writers' Workshop.
Research interests include narrative innovation, postmodern storytelling, and intersectionality in queer literature. His work frequently challenges conventional forms through fragmented timelines, nonlinear structures, and lyrical experimentation. Notable publications include Glory Hole (2017), Some Phantom/No Time Flat (2013), and Distortion (2000).
