Dr. Damien Lee, a member of the Fort William First Nation and Anishinaabe Nation citizen, is a Leverhulme Visiting Professor at the University of Birmingham's Treatied Spaces Research Group (August 2024–May 2025). He holds the Canada Research Chair in Biskaabiiyang and Indigenous Political Resurgence at Toronto Metropolitan University.

- Focus on Biskaabiiyang (Anishinaabe 'returning to ourselves')
