Dr. Damian Dupuy is a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Toronto, teaching in the Department of Geography on the St. George Campus, the Masters of Urban Innovation programme at the Institute for Management and Innovation (UTM), and the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. He is also an Associate of the Innovation Policy Lab.
- Education: PhD and MA from University of Toronto; BA from National University of Ireland, University College Dublin
His research and teaching focus on economic development, urban and regional innovation systems, and growth management, informed by his 20-year tenure as a senior policy planner in Ontario government ministries.
He also applies his expertise in policy and planning to international economic development strategies, having worked with a UK-based consultancy across North America and Europe.
Outside academia, he actively participates in track and field athletics as Vice-Chair of Athletics Ontario and a board member of Canadian Masters Athletics.
