Dalyn Luedtke serves as Associate Professor in the Department of English and Communications at Norwich University's College of Arts and Sciences and directs the Center for Writing.
Her academic background includes a B.A. in literature and writing from California State University-San Marcos and a Ph.D. in rhetoric, composition, and the teaching of English from the University of Arizona.
Research focuses on writing pedagogy innovation, technology integration in composition instruction, and fan-generated writing analysis. She examines self-motivated writing practices through cultural remixing phenomena like Survivor fan texts, while developing cross-curricular assignment frameworks. Her teaching spans professional writing, digital rhetoric, and media criticism.
As Center for Writing Director, she manages 8-10 peer coaches supporting campus-wide writing initiatives through research development and community outreach. Personal interests include competitive tennis and sustainable farming with poultry cultivation in Central Vermont.
