Daichi Shimbo, MD is a Professor of Medicine and Co-Director of the Columbia Hypertension Center at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He also directs the Translational Lab, Cardiovascular PhysiologyAA Research, and UltrasoundAA Laboratories within the Division of Cardiology. His clinical expertise includes hypertension diagnosis/treatment and cardiovascular manifestations of hypertension, while his research focuses on behavioral, psychosocial, and biological factors influencing cardiovascular disease risks associated with hypertension.
