Mathew S. Maurer, MD is a Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC), Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons. He serves as Director of the Clinical Cardiovascular Research Laboratory for the Elderly (CCRLE) and the Cardiac Amyloidosis Program. His work bridges geriatrics and cardiovascular medicine, focusing on holistic approaches to improve functional capacity and quality of life in older adults with cardiovascular diseases.
