Daan Scheepers is an Associate Professor at Leiden University in the Department of Psychology, Social, Economic and Organisational Psychology. He is affiliated with the School of Social and Behavioural Sciences and holds a part-time professorship in 'psychophysiology of groups' at Utrecht University since 2018.

Recent projects include interventions to improve intergroup perceptions and reconciling conflicting interests.
At Leiden, Scheepers teaches courses such as Inter-group Relations (Master Social and Organisational Psychology) and Improving Inter-group Perceptions (Research Master Psychology). His lab investigates the psychophysiological bases of social dynamics, with a focus on promoting cooperation between groups.
