Cyrus M. Kosar is an Assistant Professor of Health Services, Policy and Practice at Brown University. His research focuses on health services and health economics, particularly within Medicare Program delivery systems. He is affiliated with the Center for Advancing Health Policy Through Research and the Center for Gerontology and Healthcare Research.
Research Interests: Kosar specializes in post-acute care, long-term care, end-of-life care, rural healthcare, Medicare Advantage, and the impact of extreme weather events on Medicare spending. He leads an NIH-funded R01 project on post-acute and long-term care policies, with past support from AHRQ and Arnold Ventures.
