Cynthia Wei

Cynthia Wei, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, focusing on thoracic oncology and general hematology-oncology. She sees patients at UT Southwestern’s Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center and prioritizes patient-centered care for underserved populations, emphasizing clinical trial accessibility.

Dr. Wei earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Cornell University (summa cum laude) and her medical degree from UT Southwestern. She completed internal medicine residency at Indiana University School of Medicine as Chief Resident, followed by a hematology/oncology fellowship at Indiana University's Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she served as Chief Fellow. She joined UT Southwestern in 2023.
