Curry J. Hackett

Curry J. Hackett is a Distinguished Lecturer at The City College of New York's Spitzer School of Architecture. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Howard University and a Master in Urban Design from Harvard Graduate School of Design.

His creative practice explores:

• Black landscape representation
• Community-centered installations
• Digital media and AI applications
• Decolonial architectural pedagogy

He has taught at Yale, Howard University, and University of Tennessee, and is founder of Wayside Studio.

Recent recognitions include:

• Graham Foundation Research Grant (2023)
• Harvard Radcliffe Institute installation (2024)
• Washington Project for the Arts residency (2024)
