Crystal K. Hodge

Dr. Crystal K. Hodge is an Associate Professor of Pharmacotherapy at the UNT System College of Pharmacy with board certification in infectious diseases. She completed her PharmD at University of Texas at Austin and postdoctoral training at Emory University Hospital.

Her clinical research focuses on infectious diseases with specialization in multi-drug resistance, immunocompromised patients, and public health interventions. Dr. Hodge leads projects on antimicrobial stewardship, HIV education for health professionals, and minority health initiatives. She has secured multiple grants including the Targeted Access Knowledge and Education on HIV for Health Professions Programs.

Recent publications examine social determinants of health during COVID-19 among Black HIV patients, remote antimicrobial stewardship models, gut microbiome alterations in transplant patients, and epidemiological studies of diabetic foot infections. Her work emphasizes practical clinical applications and health disparities research.
