Crystal Bertrand serves as Senior Instructor and Director of Dance within the Department of Art, Theatre and Dance at West Texas A&M University's Sybil B. Harrington College of Fine Arts and Humanities. With over 30 years of collegiate teaching experience since 1993, she transitioned from adjunct faculty (2003) to her current role in 2010.
Her research and creative focus spans ballet, tap, and jazz pedagogy alongside professional choreography for concert, corporate, and theatrical venues—including the renowned TEXAS outdoor production in Palo Duro Canyon. Bertrand actively develops dance education curricula through her role as Education Director for the Texas Panhandle Heritage Foundation.
