Dr. Cristina Mullican is an Assistant Professor of Mathematical Sciences at Lebanon Valley College. Her expertise spans Mathematics and Quantum Information. She holds a B.S. from Cedarville University, an M.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Boston College, focusing on hyperbolic geometry and low-dimensional topology.
Her current research investigates symmetries and entanglements of quantum states, collaborating with Dr. Lyons and LVC students. She actively participates in the Tetrahedral Geometry/Topology Seminar as a speaker and is a Project NExT Fellow.
Teaching includes Pre-Calculus, Calculus I & II, Foundations of Mathematics, and Differential Equations. Research trends emphasize transitioning from geometric/topological foundations to quantum information applications, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach.
