Professor Craig Melville is a Professor of Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry at the University of Glasgow, affiliated with the School of Health and Wellbeing within the College of Medicine Veterinary and Life Sciences. He holds a BSc (1990) and MBChB (1993) from the University of Glasgow, followed by an MD (2010). His academic roles include serving as PGR Convener (2014–2015) and supporting early/mid-career researchers. He is also a consultant psychiatrist in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, focusing on mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions like ASD and ADHD.
Research interests include diagnosis/management of mental health conditions, integrating psychological therapies with lifestyle approaches, and promoting health equity for individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
