Craig Mellare is a Lecturer and Discipline Deputy Head of Education at the University of Sydney. His work focuses on finance education, blended learning methodologies, venture capital dynamics, and academic grade inflation trends. He holds a BCom and MCom from the University of Western Australia.
His research includes co-designing large postgraduate finance courses and analyzing IPO performance linked to venture capital. Notably, his 2024 study on grade inflation highlighted a 200% rise in high distinction awards at higher education institutions.
