Brian Anthony Burfitt

Mr Brian Anthony Burfitt is a Lecturer at the School of Accounting, University of New South Wales, where he has been teaching since 2006. He previously taught at the University of Sydney and held a 11-year corporate finance and accounting role in a FMCG manufacturing multinational, followed by management positions in finance teams at SOCOG and Sydney Olympic Games.

• Teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Financial and Management Accounting, including ACCT3583 Management Accounting 2

His research focuses on the accounting processes for Value-In-Kind sponsorship revenue, blending corporate finance frameworks with practical applications. He received the AFAANZ Research Grant in 2010/2011.
