Craig Madole is a Senior Artist Teacher and Director of the Vanderbilt Youth Orchestras at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music. He also serves as Conductor of the Philharmonia Orchestra and has led the program since 2012, providing advanced ensemble experiences for young musicians. Madole is deeply involved in music education, mentoring collegiate students in music education and pioneering initiatives such as Williamson County Schools’ first middle school orchestra program. He holds a B.M. and M.M. in Music Education from Belmont University.
His professional activities extend to guest clinician roles, adjudication, and advocacy for music education. Madole’s work focuses on fostering youth musical development and teacher training across elementary, secondary, and collegiate levels. He leads the Vanderbilt Youth Orchestras, emphasizing ensemble performance and pedagogical innovation.
