Thomas E. Verrier is Associate Professor of Conducting and Director of Wind Ensembles at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music, where he also serves as Area Coordinator for Ensembles. He conducts the Vanderbilt Wind Symphony and leads international initiatives including the Vanderbilt Music Academy in Berlin, Germany, in collaboration with the Berlin Philharmonic, and was the founding director of the Conductors Lab in Aix-en-Provence, France.

Verrier's research and professional interests focus on wind ensemble conducting, music pedagogy, and international music education. Verrier holds leadership roles in major professional organizations, including membership in the American Bandmasters Association and service as national executive secretary on the Executive Board of the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA). He has been invited to conduct and present across the Americas, Asia, and Europe, with performances at prominent conferences such as the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic, NAfME National In-Service Conference, and CBDNA National and Divisional Conferences.
