Thomas E. Verrier is Associate Professor of Conducting and Director of Wind Ensembles at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music, where he also serves as Area Coordinator for Ensembles. He conducts the Vanderbilt Wind Symphony and leads international initiatives including the Vanderbilt Music Academy in Berlin, Germany, in collaboration with the Berlin Philharmonic, and was the founding director of the Conductors Lab in Aix-en-Provence, France.

Verrier's research and professional interests focus on wind ensemble conducting, music pedagogy, and international music education. He has developed and led significant cross-border educational programs, including serving as Program Director for the Sistema Nacional de Educación Musical Instituto de Desarrollo Musical, a joint initiative between the Blair School of Music and Costa Rica's Ministry of Culture.
Verrier holds leadership roles in major professional organizations, including membership in the American Bandmasters Association and service as national executive secretary on the Executive Board of the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA). He has been invited to conduct and present across the Americas, Asia, and Europe, with performances at prominent conferences such as the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic, NAfME National In-Service Conference, and CBDNA National and Divisional Conferences.

His international teams involve collaborations with musicians from the Berlin Philharmonic and music educators across Latin America, Asia, and Europe, supporting global music development and training.
