Associate Professor Craig Johns is affiliated with the School of Economics and Public Policy and the Centre for Global Food and Resources at the University of Adelaide. He holds roles as Post Graduate Program Director and CEO of the University Agribusiness Advisory Board. His research focuses on agribusiness and agroforestry value chains, with projects in Fiji, Vanuatu, PNG, Nepal, and other regions. He has industry experience in food production management and government-funded programs. He is based at Nexus 10, North Terrace, and can be reached at craig.johns@adelaide.edu.au.
His work bridges industry and academia, emphasizing global food systems from production to consumption. Recent publications analyze Fiji's urban food retail dynamics and outcomes in Australian prawn fisheries. He actively supervises postgraduate research.
