Courtney Lamie

Courtney Lamie is a Part-Time Adjunct Professor of Communication at George Washington University with 20 years of experience at the intersection of policy, politics, and communications. As Chief Experience Officer at Crosscut Strategies, she oversees strategic communications for healthcare providers, Fortune 500 companies, and advocacy organizations.

Her expertise includes healthcare policy, technology regulation, and national advocacy campaigns focused on patent reform and digital privacy. Lamie previously served as Communications Director for U.S. Rep. Rick Boucher and founded the communications department at the Application Developers Alliance.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Virginia and a Master's in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University.
