Jennifer Gumbrewicz is a Professor and Director of the M.S. in Counterterrorism and Homeland Security program at American University's School of Public Affairs. A graduate of AU's School of Public Affairs and Washington College of Law, she holds an LL.M. in National Security Law from George Washington University and has lectured at AU since 2001.

- Advised Senate Judiciary Committee's Constitution Subcommittee on USA PATRIOT Act reauthorization
- Drafted Senate Narcotics Control Caucus report on Southwest Border drug trafficking countermeasures
Academic Leadership: Directs curriculum development for AU's M.S. program, teaching JLC-621, JLC-678, and JLC-689 courses through 2025 while mentoring students in counterterrorism policy analysis.
