Costas Gaganakis

Costas Gaganakis is a Professor at the Department of History and Archaeology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds a Ph.D. in Early Modern European History from the University of Glasgow (1988) and has been teaching at NKUA since 1996. His research focuses on Reformation Europe, social and cultural history, French Wars of Religion, and historiography. He has lectured at institutions like the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Université de Sorbonne. His work explores themes such as Calvinist historiography, religious conflict, and the role of communication in Reformation dynamics.

Publications include studies on Calvinist debates, French religious identity, and the interplay between theology and history.
