Costa Vincenzo

Vincenzo Costa is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, where he teaches Phenomenology and Phenomenology of Experience. He previously served as Associate Professor (2005–2014) and Full Professor (2014–2020) of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Molise. His academic journey includes a PhD in History of Philosophy from the Catholic University of Milan (1996) and specialization at the Husserl-Archive in Leuven (1991–1992).

Research focuses on Phenomenology of experience, Existential phenomenology, and Phenomenology of psychiatry, complemented by studies in Philosophy of Consumption and Theory of Elites. He has authored 20 books, numerous articles, and edited volumes, including Psicologia fenomenologica (2018) and recent works on post-political theory and European identity.

He coordinates the Philosophy Doctoral Program at Vita-Salute San Raffaele (since 2021) and organizes interdisciplinary events like the 2021 'Fenomenologia, medicina, psicologia' workshop. His publications bridge philosophical theory with contemporary societal issues, maintaining strong links to Husserlian tradition while addressing modern existential challenges.
