Vincenzo Costa

Vincenzo Costa is a Full Professor of Philosophy at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, teaching Phenomenology and Phenomenology of Experience. He holds a Laurea in Philosophy from the University of Milan (cum laude) and a PhD from the Catholic University of Milan. His career includes roles as a researcher at the Catholic University of Milan, Associate Professor at the University of Molise (2005–2014), and his current full professorship since 2014.

Research focuses on phenomenology, particularly existential phenomenology, phenomenology of psychiatry, and the philosophy of consumption. He has authored over 20 books and numerous articles in multiple languages, including works like Psicologia fenomenologica (2018) and Populismo senza popolo (2025). His interdisciplinary work bridges philosophy with psychology and medicine, evident in collaborations like the 2021 workshop on phenomenology, medicine, and psychology.

He participates in doctoral programs at Vita-Salute San Raffaele and previously contributed to programs at the University of Molise. His academic activities include organizing initiatives like Un giorno di filosofi (2023) and interdisciplinary workshops exploring phenomenology's applications in medicine and education.
