Cosme Milesi-Brault is a Professor leading the Structures, Properties and Modeling of Solids laboratory. His research focuses on antiferroelectric materials, phase transitions, and solid-state physics. Key areas include exploring soft-mode-driven transitions in materials like francisite and barium zirconate, as well as exciton dynamics in perovskite systems. He has contributed to understanding polarization mechanisms in ferroelectric uniaxial tungsten bronze and phase-boundary phenomena in PbZrTiO3 systems.
