Corinne Kodama, PhD, is a Visiting Research Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). She holds academic and administrative experience across UIC, DePaul University, and Loyola University Chicago. Her roles have included faculty positions in counseling/higher education, multicultural affairs, admissions, and assessment. She was the founding Associate Director of UIC’s Asian American Resource and Cultural Center and has served on the Board of Advisors for MAASU and as a reader for the Asian Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund.

- BA from University of Washington
Her research focuses on leadership development for racially diverse populations, commuter/transfer student issues, and Asian American student identity development. Her work appears in peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of College Student Development and Review of Educational Research, and co-edited books including Bridging Research and Practice to Support Asian American Students (2017) and Working With Asian American Students (2002).
Dr. Kodama has received recognition for her scholarship, including NASPA and ACPA awards. Her advocacy extends to institutional initiatives supporting underrepresented student populations through policy development and program evaluation.
