Peggy Burke is an Instructor in Higher Education Administration and Policy at Northwestern University’s School of Education & Social Policy. She previously served as Former Associate Vice President of Student Development at DePaul University, overseeing Residential Education, Student Involvement, and New Student & Family Engagement departments. Her professional interests focus on college student development, leadership development, women’s development, organizational development, and change management.

Dr. Burke has held adjunct faculty roles at Loyola University Chicago, DePaul University, and Benedictine University. She is deeply involved in NASPA—Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, serving in leadership roles such as co-chair of the National NASPA Mid-Level Administrators Conference, Region IV-East Regional Director, and Awards Chair. Her contributions were recognized through the NASPA IV-East Award (2011) and the 2016 Pillar of the Profession honor.
Her career spans over three decades in higher education, with prior roles including Director of Special Services and Acting Director of Campus Ministry at DePaul University. She has also contributed to leadership programs and knowledge communities within NASPA, emphasizing institutional and professional growth.
