Corina Forthuber is a University Professor of Design & Technology at the University Mozarteum Salzburg, specializing in the intersection of object, space, culture, and society. She leads the Design: Technology.Textiles program and operates a Vienna-based design studio emphasizing participatory projects. Her academic roles include teaching participative design strategies at institutions like the University of Art and Design Linz and NDU St. Pölten.
Education:
- Bachelor's in Arts and Crafts (1998–2000) at Glasfachschule Kramsach, Tyrol
- Master's in Interior Design (2000–2008) at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle
Research Interests: Forthuber focuses on participatory design methodologies, cultural narratives in spatial interventions, and socially engaged textile practices.
