Cordula Kropp is a Professor at the University of Stuttgart's Institute for Social Sciences, where she chairs the Sociology of Technology, Risk and Environment. She directs the Centre for Interdisciplinary Risk and Innovation Studies (ZIRIUS) and investigates sociotechnical transformation processes in construction and environmental policy. Her research bridges social sciences with architectural innovation and sustainability imperatives.
