Cordelia Brazile is a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Pittsburgh, affiliated with the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh (2023) and a master's degree from the same institution (2018). Her research focuses on the intersection of race, gender, and collegiate sports in 20th-century higher education, with a dissertation analyzing Title IX's impact on women’s sports at two Tennessee universities—one predominantly white and one HBCU. She also explores youth soccer academies in transnational contexts.
